Mirela travelled to QLD last week to present a seminar on our research into surface water dynamics in the Murray Darling Basin to the Australian Rivers Institute. Here, she discussed with students and academics the development of the data product from the Landsat Archive, as well as ongoing investigations into the key drivers for surface water dynamics, how they’ve changed over time and the response to extensive flooding exhibited by riparian vegetation communities.
